For the 3rd year in a row we can make the dream of hundreds of children come true: a new school uniform. In the area where we work this means a lot. Because if you live in extreme poverty, the money for a (mandatory!) school uniform is very often not there. Uniforms are a real 'ticket to school'. Our team in Kilifi Kenya is a well-oiled machine: from purchasing, selecting the seamstresses, distribution of all materials, taking the measurements to delivery: they follow everything closely and adjust where necessary.
