It is with deep sadness, but also with warm memories of a special woman, that we say goodbye to our beloved Wendy. She passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, at the age of 86.
Wendy was more than a friend to me – she was a pillar of strength, a rock. As a hostess in Kilifi, as a counselor, as a confidant, she was always there for anyone who needed her. Her loving presence has always been felt by me.
Anyone who works with Learn! Foundation traveled to Kilifi and had the privilege of getting to know her. And from the first meeting, it was clear: Wendy was someone you would not easily forget. Her warmth, her caring, her wisdom and her inexhaustible energy made a great impression.
I will always cherish her in my heart and continue to feel her smile and her love.
Dear Wendy, rest in peace.
