What a celebration at Giriama Tailoring Centre! 🎉 As part of our Ticket to School project, made possible with 100% support from AFAS Foundation, we had the much-anticipated event of handing out the remaining sewing machines! These incredible young women at the centre, who are either finished or almost finished with their training, treated the Learn! Foundation team in Kenya to a delicious feast that lifted the entire mood! 🎂✨
It was an unforgettable gathering where the dream of ten young women came true: a sewing machine of their own, the key to their future. Their tuition fees had already been covered, so it was truly party time! 🎉🎁 This moment isn't just a source of joy for the students who are receiving a schooluniform, their parents, and the school, but for this training centre, it's an unprecedented success story that we can all be proud of! 👏💫
