The scouts from 'our' Makonjemare Comprehensive School in Kenya were so happy when they received their new uniforms! It was a very special moment for these young people, who, thanks to our donors, had the chance to celebrate their involvement in scouting. It is truly an honor to wear this uniform!
Scouting in Kenya is very important for the development of children and young people. It teaches them not only about leadership, teamwork, and respect but also about developing skills they can use throughout their lives. In scouting, children learn practical skills, but also important values such as discipline, care for nature, and helping others. Donors who visited the school with us will surely remember how the scouts welcomed us (with almost military precision) and with such warmth.
For the scouts of Makonjemare, receiving a uniform is much more than just a piece of clothing. It is a symbol of their commitment and growth as individuals. A sign of their importance to the community.
