What an amazing event! All the students of 'our' Makonjemare Comprehensive School in Kenya received a new school uniform through our Ticket To School project. It was a day of celebration.
Thanks to our fantastic donor, the AFAS Foundation, a huge burden has been lifted from the shoulders of the parents and caregivers. The best part is that the students now all wear the same uniforms to school, which makes them feel equal and united, standing stronger together. This is truly a step forward for the school and the community!
Thank you, AFAS Foundation, for making this beautiful change possible for the 3rd year in a row! It means so much to this extremely poor community.
