Yesterday, we had a wonderful session with 7 out of the 9 students we support through our secondary school scholarship program. The other two students were away from Kilifi.
The students came to collect their third term fee deposit slips and to do some school shopping in preparation for reopening on Monday, the 25th.
Their shopping included essentials like washing and bathing soap, toilet paper, body oil, toothpaste, sanitary pads, and pens.
We also held a mentoring session where we discussed the importance of saying no to abuse at school, being kind and respectful, and always choosing to be peacemakers.
