Makonjemare school garden

What a great start of this new year. The school garden is blooming and thriving like never before! Where we first had to report that the garden was dried out, there is now an abundant growth of the planted maize.

This means a lot for the school, because corn flour can be ground from the harvest. Corn flour is the flour used to cook Ugali. And so little by little this school becomes more self-sufficient.
